Naples comes in at 1st Place and Florida is home to four of the Top 10 retirement cities in the U.S.
Choosing where to retire takes lots of research and time, but Southwest Florida becomes the choice of many. First they visit, and then they fall in love with our beaches, the warm climate, golf courses, boutique shops and the many wonderful restaurants. It’s no surprise that so many baby boomers and younger resolve to take up full-time or part-time residence and frequently retire here.
Yet another new study says Florida is home to four of the Top 10 retirement cities in the U.S. While the other three cities attracting retirees are on the east coast, Naples leads the list with the highest scores based on 1,000 people for Doctors’ Offices, Recreation Centers, Retirement Centers and Total Percent of Seniors.
When making a move as a retiree, perhaps to a 55 plus age restricted community, whether from another state or downsizing within SW Florida, you’ll have many home choices within Naples, and nearby Bonita Springs, Estero and Fort Myers.
