World of Beer
The Tampa-based tavern chain has newly opened its second location in Lee County, at the University Plaza, a strip mall between Costco and Longhorn Steakhouse near the Gulf Coast Town Center. The tavern will feature more than 500 bottles of beer and 50 rotating taps. It will also offer craft spirits and a menu of tavern fare and traditional bar food: sandwiches, sliders, flatbreads and World of Beer’s German pretzel.

The English Pub, A popular local hangout for more than 30 years, has permanently closed in East Naples.Now dark, a goodbye note is not posted on the pub’s door, and its website is closed. Its telephone number goes unanswered. Its Facebook page is no longer available.
Pagelli’s Cucina, also known as Pagelli’s Rustic Tuscan Grill, permanently closed July 25 after operating for more than seven years at Coconut Point in Estero.Details asa to why are unknown.
Newsstand Café in North Naples closed permanently this summer after opening for five seasons. Building Manager Ken Rose says another French restaurant will be opening sometime this month (August 2015).
